The Government business unit will provide you with an opportunity to make a difference. You will be helping government departments and agencies shape and deliver their programmes and to find the most effective means of improving operational capability, whether in a consulting or systems implementation role.

What you can expect
The Government BU portfolio is diverse, example projects include:
- Case management solutions - often extending the full breadth of the project lifecycle, involving mixed business and technical teams working with clients to understand their objectives and strategies in order to capture their requirements, then design and implement the solution. Detica also manages these programmes and provides business change expertise to ensure that the benefits are realised.
- Information analytics - we have a wide variety of consulting and implementation projects helping organisations understand what additional value they can gain form existing data or by complementing it with new data sets. More often than not these projects start with a proof of concept exercise
- Information architecture - a diverse topic, requiring a wide variety of skills, which we out to use working on redesigning intranets, user interfaces and knowledge management projects.
- Business strategy and design - we help organisations crystallise their objectives and strategy across their business functions.
- Fraud detection - we currently have a number of projects dealing with both detection and prevention of internal and external fraud.
- Technical consulting - this is very much Detica's heritage, as such we are acting as technical advisors in areas such as secure network design, transport strategies, mobile communications services, fixed telecommunications services and contact centre implementation.
