Protection from malicious attack has become a red-flag issue in both industry and government. The pervasive use of IT in a connected world is providing criminals with remote, wide ranging and relatively safe means to attack their targets. And the criminals are not always external. Fraudulent or malicious behaviour from employees represents an increasing fraction of the overall business risk.
Prevention and detection systems are clearly key to effective fraud and security management, as are the systems and processes needed to pursue effective investigations and prosecutions. But effective fraud and security management is also about having clear policies, robust processes and people who are trained to execute them.

What we do

We provide a security audit and design service and also specialise in the design, development and support of anti-fraud and case management systems. Specifically, we work in the following areas:
  • Security audit and design - We audit clients' security policies, processes and systems against international security standard ISO17799. We also provide a security design service.
  • Insider fraud detection - We build employee fraud detection systems which use artificial intelligence techniques to spot frauds from abnormal patterns of behaviour in the way people use an organisation's IT systems.
  • Investigative case management - We help organisations design and automate case management processes for investigating and prosecuting suspected crime.
  • Business continuity planning - Our service uses a standard risk management approach to the identification, classification and valuation of business risks.
